Who we are

RewNet Consultants Pvt Ltd is a private company established by a team of multidisciplinary energy-environmental professionals in the year 2010 A.D. This company was founded in Kathmandu, Nepal with an aim to provide professional services in the field of renewable energy, clean development mechanism, environmental studies, management, and monitoring of development projects.

RewNet is quite experienced and familiar with the requirements, procedures, and relevant expertise for undertaking and promoting the development of various RETs alongside the policies and guidelines of both national and international development partners regarding the environmental and socio-economic aspects of development projects in the energy sector of Nepal.

Ultimate Goals

*Survey, design, installation, study, and management of renewable energy projects with professional delivery at a viable cost.
*CDM studies, Initial Environment Examination (IEE), Environment Impact Assessment (EIA), various research and management of development projects.
*Strengthening and ensuring the process of site selection, community mobilization, installation, management and monitoring of development project.
*Building design, energy audits, monitoring, property valuation, etc.
*Formulation, collection and management of energy database of Nepal.
*Promotion of social awareness among key stakeholders of development projects through environment-friendly technologies.
*Guide the policymakers of the Government of Nepal in making better rules and regulations in the field of energy and environment sector for sustainable development.

Business Philosophy

Poverty, Energy and the environment are closely associated and have a direct and inclusive relationship with each other in a developing country. The poor are strongly dependent on natural resources for their livelihoods and are particularly vulnerable to environmental stress and disasters. Likewise, development and environmental protection are mutually dependent and indivisible. Developmental initiatives are required to address the demand for energy in developing countries to minimize the poverty level. RewNet sensibly believes that sound and equitable energy management with environmental protection is a prerequisite for sustainable development and for effective and sustained poverty reduction. To achieve the goal of sustainable development, promotion of RETs shall constitute an integral part of the development process. RewNet as its marketable social responsibilities will follow its business policy that some part of its net profit will be dedicated to the programs for the betterment of marginalized and the pro-poor community of the country.

The management policy of RewNet is based on a “high degree of professional integrity” to deliver “sound and fulfilled services to the clients” as “marks of excellence”.

Core Team

Bibek Kanta Neupane

Managing Director
Mr. Neupane has more than 13 years of experiences in various development projects. His academic background is environmental science and development studies. He has a sound knowledge on environmental sustainability, GESI responsive planning, result based monitoring, capacity development, public-private partnership modalities and community mobilization. He has good expertise in social, contractual management, and maintained effective and cordial relationships with all the stakeholders and line agencies.

Sangrila Phuyal

Technical Director
Ms. Phuyal is a professional engineer with master’s degree in Planning and Operation of Energy System from Kathmandu University (KU). She has more than 5 years of experience as researcher and consultant and has expertise in RE Planning, Energy Efficiency and GHG emission projects/programs development /management and working with development partners, rural community, local service providers, and other value chain actors including program planning.

Utshav Phuyal

IT Officer
Mr. Phuyal is a graduate from the field of Computer Science and also did master’s degree in MBA. He has a dynamic character with more than 4 years’ experience as the IT professional and is a valuable asset to the organization. He is providing services to the organization from his set of skills and knowledge in software part. He is extremely well equipped with the skills and practice in the field of data management, accounting software development, and overall technical acquaintance of computer systems as per need.

Netra Raj Dhital

Field Coordinator
Mr. Dhital is a master’s degree holder in Rural Development with more than 7 years of experience as a field researcher. He has good experiences in field survey, monitoring, data collection and overall data handling. He is fully responsible for the support and guidance to field monitors or local level user groups in information collection, monitoring/supervision of project activities carried out by the field staffs and to perform various office works as per our need.

Saurav Bagale

Research Associate
Mr. Bagale has been working as a Research Associate since 2019. He has good experiences in planning and coordination of daily task such as mobilization, filings, proper documentation in office, data entry, support in data analysis, and other creative works. Also, he will be responsible for field visit for data collection/ support in consultative meetings/FGDs with stakeholders, desk study, questionnaire /checklist preparation and other official works.

Subash Tiwari

Field Monitor
Mr. Tiwari has more than 6 years’ experience in field survey and monitoring activities. He is quite familiar in aspects of conducting site verification and data collection. He is actively involved in field monitoring, social mobilization and survey work from our organization. He has an extremely good command in motivational and community mobilization.

Menuka Ojha

Admin Officer
Ms. Ojha is a master student working with us since 2016 as an admin officer. She has good knowledge of office communication skills, management, secretarial roles and responsibility. She has also investigation potential responses and also can develop and schedule strategic plans. She has proven team-building skills with the ability to work independently and also has demonstrated verbal communication, interpersonal and time management skills. She also possesses an ability to handle broad range of responsibilities.

Asmita Dhakal

Office Assistance
She is a bachelor’s student working as an office Assistance for more than 2 years. She has sound knowledge of office administration, file binding, official transactions, and many more. She is attentive to her works and duties. She is very loyal to her works and she works with patience.
